Board of Directors
A ten-member board of directors provides oversight and support to the staff of SOZO Recovery Center. Elected officers of the board are President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. All board officers serve a three-year term.
The SOZO Recovery Center director and staff work with the board to develop the annual budget projections. A monthly “Financial Statement” is produced at the board level and is reviewed at each monthly meeting of the board, which is also attended by the SOZO Director.
When presenting the monthly report to the board, the SOZO Director typically comments on client census and behaviors, current and future marketing activities, potential new clients, issues that require board attention and/or vote and new ideas.
The SOZO Recovery Center Board of Directors are actively involved in all aspects of the center, which includes fundraising, Bible study, and facility maintenance.
